SOS-Hotline is among other new developments, part of the efforts been made by the new NANCA executives to ensure self-dependency in the Nigerian community. In his speech, he reiterated "its high time Nigerians handle their affairs themselves".
At the moment, we are negotiating with the Telecom and Tele2 for an affordable free calls line 0800 number. We are also negotiating with the Tele2 service provider for a probable sponsorship of the free line, 0800. In the interim, we will start with the use of two mobile phone lines, which will be made available at all Nigerian shops and information centres.
These calls will be answered by members of the Executive committee. They shall re-direct the calls to the persons that will assist the callers.
